  1. I am deeply shocked and heartbroken to learn of the sudden passing of Razeen.

To me, he was far more than Razeen. He was a brother, a neighbor, a trusted friend, a colleague, and a man blessed with remarkable knowledge and wisdom. Throughout the years, he helped countless people, including me, navigate some of life’s most difficult moments with his advice, insight, and genuine concern for others.

Razeen’s life was not an easy one. He endured many hardships and personal struggles. During several of those difficult times, I stood beside him, hoping to guide him and encourage him to make better choices. A few years ago, I eventually accepted that some battles could only be fought by the individual himself, and I stepped back.

Yet despite everything, Razeen never stopped showing me kindness and respect. Even during times when I distanced myself or unintentionally ignored him, he would always greet me warmly, speak highly of me, and shower me with words of appreciation. That was the kind of heart he had.

To me, and to so many others, he was a wonderful human being – kind, caring, generous, and always willing to help. If some experienced a different side of him, I truly believe much of it stemmed from struggles and circumstances that were often beyond his control. We all carry burdens that others cannot always see.

Today, as family, friends, and loved ones gather to bid him a final farewell, it pains me deeply that I cannot be there to pay my last respects. Being overseas at this sorrowful moment is something I will always regret. My heart is with him, his family, and everyone mourning his loss, even though distance prevents me from standing beside them.

Today, I choose to remember the goodness in him – the countless acts of kindness, the wisdom he shared, and the friendship we were fortunate to have.

May Allah (SWT) forgive all his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, widen and illuminate his grave, and grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah grant his family and loved ones strength, patience, and comfort during this immensely difficult time.

Farewell, my dear brother. I will always remember you with love and gratitude for all the goodness you brought into my life. You will forever remain in my prayers and in my heart. Until we meet again, In shaa Allah.
