Majeediyya Muskulhi Dharivarunge Jamiyya (MMDJ) Official Website Launched to Mark a New Era of Alumni Engagement

Malé, Maldives — 1 January 2026

Majeediyya Muskulhi Dharivarunge Jamiyya (MMDJ) proudly announced the official launch of its new website, https://mmdj.org, marking a major milestone in efforts to strengthen alumni engagement and celebrate the heritage of Majeediyya School.

The website was ceremonially launched on 1 January 2026 by founder member Dr. Ahmed Anwar, a distinguished educational leader and one of the driving forces behind the establishment and revival of the alumni association. Dr. Anwar’s leadership and commitment to uniting past students helped bring the vision of a dynamic digital hub for the alumni community to life.

The new MMDJ website is designed to serve as a central platform for alumni connection, heritage celebration, and community activities. Key features include up-to-date announcements, event information, opportunities to share personal school stories, donation portals, and interactive features aimed at increasing engagement across generations of Majeediyya alumni.

This launch comes as part of broader initiatives by MMDJ to rekindle alumni involvement, create meaningful platforms for communication, and celebrate the legacy of Majeediyya School as it approaches its centenary. The initiative reflects the association’s commitment to enhancing the alumni experience and building stronger bonds between past students and the school community.

“We are thrilled to launch this website at the beginning of the year,” said Dr. Ahmed Anwar during the opening ceremony. “This platform will not just share information — it will be a place where memories, achievements, and connections are celebrated and strengthened. It is a vital step in making MMDJ more vibrant, accessible, and interactive.”

Alumni, well-wishers, and members of the public are encouraged to explore the site at mmdj.org and participate in shaping the digital legacy of one of Maldives’ most historic educational communities.
